Research Interests
Dr. Jones’ primary research interests relate to cancer prevention and
control particularly in the adult population. Her primary focus is on cancer
screening and the predictors and barriers of cancer screening behavior, predominantly
colorectal cancer screening. In addition, she is interested in developing and
implementing community interventions to increase healthy behaviors, such as
increasing cancer screening rates in the general population as well as preventing
and decreasing tobacco use among adolescents.
