Students must begin planning for the internship
during the semester prior to the field experience. Each student should
first discuss with her/his faculty advisor how the internship fits
in with the student’s
curriculum. The student then completes an Internship Application
and schedules an appointment with the Public Health Internship Director.
The Director is key in the internship process and helps match students
to available internship sites and projects, ensuring that proper
documentation is completed.
Students interested in an internship should
complete an Internship
Application and contact the Internship Director, Lisa Anderson,
according to the schedule in the Public Health Internship Guide.
