| GOAL 1. INSTRUCTION |
Educate MPH students to become well grounded in the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes of public health practice and demonstrate their ability to apply these essentials through coursework, internships, and the MPH Research Project. |

Recruit students with prospects for becoming successful public health professionals. |

Provide a rigorous research environment that will contribute to the advancement of public health knowledge and improved health in populations. |

Contribute to the university and greater community
through service to public health agencies, organizations, and community-based

Assure that students participate in service learning

Assure that MPH students share their skills and
expertise by collaborating with community-based organizations, public

Advance the development of curricular, student and faculty resources. |
