PHAA Alumni Association
Alumni of the VCU Master of Public Health
Program have been working over the past year to lay the foundation
for an alumni association. With the election of our first officers
at the end of 2006, we have officially formed the Public Health
Alumni Association (PHAA)! Your officers are:
President — Quynh Do (2005)
Parliamentarian — Paula Margolis (1997)
Secretary — Leslie Knachel (2000)
Treasurer — Ron Reynolds (1996)
The officers now invite you to become an official member of the PHAA.
Membership in the association includes the Public Health Times newsletter, membership card, and an invitation to an annual social event sponsored by the PHAA and the developing VCU School of Public Health. Our newsletter will include job announcements, membership profiles, upcoming seminars, and other Public Health events. We are planning our first gathering on September 10th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Alumni House located on East Clay Street at the corner of 11th. Details are being worked out now. To get the PHAA off the ground, we need to start collecting dues, which are $20 per year.
